Connecting a Custom API or Webhook

Where to find it

Open the Connected Tools panel from your account header. You will see a Custom API entry with a webhook icon. The badge shows Connected if a custom API connector is active for your organization, or Connect if it is not.

Clicking the Custom API entry takes you to the Connectors page where you can set up or manage your webhook.

How to connect

  1. Open the Connected Tools panel from the header, then click Custom API.
  2. On the Connectors page, locate Custom API / Webhook under the available integrations.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to configure your webhook endpoint. DocsKoala will send support and feedback data to the URL you provide.
  4. Once the connection is active, return to the Connected Tools panel. The badge next to Custom API will update to Connected.

Things to know

  • The Custom API integration works with any support or feedback tool that can receive a webhook, not just the natively supported platforms.
  • If you disconnect or remove the integration, the badge reverts to Connect.
